CineKink Brings Kinky Film Festival to Washington, DC
November 12-13, 2010

CineKink — “the kinky film festival” — brings its annual tour to the nation’s capital on Friday-Saturday, November 12-13, 2010.

With screenings to be held at the The Crucible, CINEKINK: DC will offer a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide and exciting world of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit – and everything in between. Each night will also feature an after-party that continues upon the theme of the evening’s film and video selections.

FRIDAY
The festivities kick off on Friday, November 12th at 8 PM with the BEST OF CINEKINK, featuring a mix of award-winning shorts deemed the year’s best during the festival’s latest annual run at CineKink NYC.

SATURDAY
On Saturday, November 13th at 6 PM the film shorts program YES, MISTRESS asks (and sometimes answers!) the question: “How may I be of service?” And at 8 PM, MODERN LOVE IS AUTOMATIC, directed by DC-native Zach Clark, is the darkly comic tale of an apathetic nurse who moonlights as a dominatrix, her aspiring model roommate, and the sad, strange world in which they live.

Ticket prices for each regular screening are $10 advance/$15 at the door; to attend the screening and the evening’s after-party, admission is $30 advance/$40 at the door

The darkly comic story of an apathetic nurse who moonlights as a dominatrix, her aspiring-model roommate, and the sad, strange world in which they live. Will Lorraine’s secret life as a dominatrix be revealed? Will Adrian sell enough mattresses to be featured in the big coupon spread? In pursuing their hidden desires and misguided dreams, both girls find their paths crossing in ways they never expected.

(Director Zach Clark, a DC-native, along with actress Melodie Sisk, will be on hand following the screening for an audience Q&A about the film, which was shot locally.)
