Kinky Film Festival Tour Returns to Portland
CineKink: PDX / Tuesday, August 8

New York, NY; July 13, 2017 – A special evening of films that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality will screen on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 as CineKink, “the kinky film festival,” returns to Portland for a hot, one-night stand.

At 7 PM, BEST OF CINEKINK/2017 is a collection of sexy shorts deemed the best during CineKink’s most recent festival run. This year’s assortment, with works ranging from mildly spicy to quite explicit, includes an animated trip to the erotic book section, a swinger hook-up gone slightly awry, and a surreal, kink-filled journey set in New York’s infamous Chelsea Hotel. The line-up features ‘Tabook’ (Dario van Vree), ‘Like Totally Hot Couple Seeking Same’ (Marcel Simoneau & Kirsten Russell), ‘Trinity’ (Ms. Naughty), ‘The Hutong Vibe’ (Fan Popo), ‘The Erotic Dreams of the Chelsea Hotel’ (Tony Notarberardino & Cassandra Rosebeetle) and, from Portland filmmaker Robin Vada, a mingling of taut bondage and classical music, ‘Vibrato.’

And at 9 PM, KINK & COMMUNITY offers a short film sampling of the many predilections that make up the world of kink – and a CineKink award-winning look at the museum that strives to document them all. Selections in this program include ’Spank You Very Much’ (Thomas Florek),’Folsom Street'(Aron Kantor), You’ve Got Tail (Danny Tayara), Playing Scrabble (Jessie Sparkles, Paradoxipus & The Linguist), Coming of Age (Jan Soldat), Please May I Come Mistress? (Pandora Blake) and By The People: 25 Years Of Community Archiving at Leather Archives & Museum (Christina Court).

Both screenings will take place at the Clinton Street Theater (2522 SE Clinton St.), and each will be followed by a brief discussion with attending filmmakers.

Admission is $10 door/$8 advance per screening, $15 door/$12 advance for both; 18 and over only.

CineKink: PDX is presented in conjunction with Oregon Leather Pride, which runs August 4-14, 2017. The CineKink festival tour is sponsored by Bowery Bliss, National Coalition for Sexual Freedom, Leather Archives and Museum, and njoy, with additional local support from KinkFest, The Mystery Box Show and She Bop.

(Directed by Christina Court, 2016, USA, 39 minutes.)
