CineKink Kinky Film Festival Tour Returns to Chicago / November 16-17

New York, NY; October 23, 2018 – Films that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality will screen November 16-17, as CineKink, “the kinky film festival,” returns to Chicago for a sizzling weekend rendezvous, taking place at Leather Archives & Museum (6418 N. Greenview Ave., Chicago).

On Friday, November 16 at 7:30 PM, the feature film FANTASY, winner of a CineKink 2018 Audience Choice Award, looks at the increasingly surreal measures one couple takes to rekindle their desires and reclaim intimacy. Directed by Dashell Demeter, the film screens with shorts ‘Cake’ (Anne Hu) and ‘A Closet Made of Sheets’ (Kira Bursky).

On Saturday, November 17 at 6 PM, BEST OF CINEKINK/2018 is a collection of sexy shorts deemed the best during CineKink’s most recent festival run. This year’s assortment, with works ranging from mildly spicy to quite explicit, includes a love story about bondage and books (from Chicago filmmaker Jim Vendiola), a documentary remembrance of a once legendary gay beach, and a laugh-filled romp with adult performers Tommy Pistol and Ingrid Mouth. The full line-up features ‘Asian Man, White Woman (Woody Fu), ‘Don’t Call Me’ (Olympia De G.),‘Cruising Elsewhere’ (Ryan White), ‘F*ck Yes: Threesome’ (Jessica King),’Yes Campaign’ (Ms. Naughty), ’Library Hours’ (Jim Vendiola), ‘Morning After’ (Patricia Chica) and ‘Writer’s Block’ (Shine Louise Houston).

And Saturday, November 17 at 8 pm, SEX & MONSTERS offers a short film exploration of the darker desires lurking deep inside us…and out in the woods. Selections in this program include ‘Laurels’ (David Brundige),’ Sell Your Body’ (Jaanelle Yee), ‘Eggs, Zombies and Bacon’ (Sherry-Yiyang Shi), ‘Demon Pills’ (Kira Bursky), ’Stay’ (David Mikalson), ‘Ornament of Beauty’ (Andy Fortenbacher), ‘Queen Kong’ (Monica Strambini) and ‘The Monster’ (Johan Palmgren and Lisa Gustafsson).

“The Leather Archives & Museum is excited to host Cinekink, the festival that offers the best in kink-friendly, sex-positive films. It’s truly a pleasure to bring these works to Chicago, a city that embraces its inner kink like no other,” said Gary Wasdin, Executive Director of the LA&M, which has hosted the CineKink screening tour for over the past decade.

Admission for CineKink: Chicago is $10 door/$8 advance per screening, $5 for LA&M or CineKink members. Saturday double-feature tickets are $15/advance, $10 members; a limited number of weekend passes, good for all three screenings, are available for $20 advance; $15/members. 18 and over only.
